“Any patch of sunlight in a wood will show you something about the sun which you could never get from reading books on astronomy. These pure and spontaneous pleasures are ‘patches of Godlight’ in the woods of our experience.”
~ C.S. Lewis

Sacred Water
“Water is life’s matter and matrix, mother and medium.
There is no life without water.”

Sweet life itself is not possible without water.

in one aspect of You are found all the aspects of existence.”

What is Divine in All of Us
My religion (by J Clement Wall)
My religion
doesn’t involve a church or a minister or a pulpit;
it’s practiced under a roof of sky,
whispered by the wind,
preached by birds and crickets and rivers and toads.My religion
isn’t written in scripture;
it’s written in the hearts of lovers
and parents
and artists
and everyone who,
broken from the weight of too many endings,
gets back up to love again.My religion
lies at the point of contact,
where feet meet earth,
where inhale meets exhale,
where your infinitely breakable heart meets mine.My religion
isn’t big on words like sin and wrong and perfect;
it’s big on honesty, vulnerability, messiness… awe.
The followers of my religion
are badass, open-hearted, hippie warriors of love,
who know that you don’t dance to get somewhere
or sing to reach the end of the song.We sing and dance to reach what is
divine in all of us.In love,
we are each other’s salvation.
The Wanderer
“Let yourself fall in love with nature. Visit new places and discover your own back yard. Spend more time outside watching sunrises and sunsets. Make time to star gaze. Stand barefoot in the beautiful earth and reconnect your soul. To the energy that created you. You are a part of a magnificent universe. Take the time to be present with it all. Allow nature to feed your soul. Those who wander will never feel lost.”
-Carly Marie

Fall in Love with Existence
“The purpose of this glorious life is not simply to endure it, but to soar,
stumble,
and flourish,
as you learn to fall in love with existence.
We were born to live my dear not to merely exist.”
-Becca Lee
Hidden Secrets
“And above all watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.”
-Roald Dahl
Remembering How to Be
“If you ever find yourself empty from something you cannot know or name, find a stretch of ocean, a field, or mountainside, or even clouds or trees. Because there are 1,000 simple ways to fill your tired soul so you can remember how to be, how to see, and most importantly, how to breathe.”
-Victoria Erickson
Stretch Your Heart
“Today, see if you can stretch your heart and expand your love so that it touches not only those to whom you can give it easily, but also to those who need it so much.”
~ Aristotle
Becoming Rich
“I make myself rich by making my wants few.”
-Henry David Thoreau
New Eyes
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”
~ Marcel Proust
